Directions

When visitors reach the top of Highland Lighthouse this year they will be welcomed by a bright, new light: a state-of-the-art LED beacon.  The new beacon will create a 5 second white flash of light from the tower’s Lantern Room, replacing the familiar rotating motion of the previous beacon.  Installation of the new beacon ensures that Cape Cod’s oldest lighthouse remains a vibrant icon of Cape Cod National Seashore.

Highland Lighthouse is located on Highland Light Road in North Truro, MA. Take Route 6 to Highland Road, and follow signs to Highland Lighthouse. For GPS users, the address for Highland Lighthouse is 27 Highland Light Road, North Truro, MA, 02682.

Facilities

Restrooms are not available at Highland Lighthouse, but are available at the Highland House Museum, adjacent to the lighthouse, during operating hours.
